There are many publishers that have given up (not through lack of trying) with AdSense. For many it didn’t turn out to be what they expected because it wasn’t quick, it wasn’t easy and it wasn’t as lucrative as they had been led to believe. Essentially, they found it difficult to generate decent amounts of AdSense cash.

But for every beginner that gave up on AdSense there are many more that have made a success of the scheme. It is easy to use, but unfortunately difficult to use successfully, it can be extremely quick to add to your website but can take months to get that all important first cheque. AdSense is simple to implement yet complex in scope and depth.
